Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Description

McKennon Law seeks a motivated Litigation Associate for our Newport Beach ERISA and insurance practice. This role offers substantive responsibility, high-level advocacy, and the chance to develop expertise in a sophisticated, impactful area of law.

Responsibilities

• ** Litigation: Draft complaints, motions, and appellate briefs; manage discovery and administrative record reviews.**
• ** Advocacy: Prepare for and assist with depositions, mediations, court hearings, and trials.**
• ** Pre-Litigation: Draft ERISA appeal letters and settlement demands.**
• ** Client Management: Maintain direct communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.**

Qualifications

• ** Experience: 1–10 years of litigation experience preferred (Federal court and ERISA/Insurance background preferred).**
• ** Licensure: Active member of the California State Bar.**
• ** Skills: Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy; strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.**
